Positioning Systems (Enviroment Resistance)
Smartcam System is an absolute type-position detection system equipped with electronic cam function. Sensors (Transmitters) of the system come with resolvers excellent in environment resistance or encoders with high accuracy and high resolution. Combining the sensors with converters, we provide you with highly accurate and reliable systems. Depending on the combination with the converter, three types; a 1 turn type, a multi-turn type, and a 1 turn/multi-turn switching type are available.

Features
Smart Cam is a programmable Electronic Cam signal output unit, which replaces conventional mechanical cam switching system or pulse detecting units, used for general position control of machines.
Sensor unit is a brushless resolver, Smartsyn, known as an environmentally reliable long-life unit. The sine/cosine analog signal proportional to the shaft rotation is converted to digital angle data via R/D converter incorporated in the control unit.Programmable On/Off signals (Cam signals), along with position data in pure binary or BCD, are output via photocoupler interfaces.
A handy terminal or a PC (Windows) can be used for a display monitor and a programming interface.
Features of Sensors (Detectors)

In complete absolute, the presision is a ±10 shave. - High tracking speed
Capable of rotating up to 2,000 rev/min. - Environment-resistant.
Small size, middle size, and water-proof IP67, sensors can be widely selected.
Errors due to cables and noise are reduced by using 1 phase excitation and 2 phase output signals.
Transmission up to 500m Max. is capable by shielded twisted pair cable.
Features of Smartcam (Digital converter)
- Conversion method protected from external noise.
Original R/D. Compare to 2 phases “Synchronized arithmetic phase method”, this unit has 1 phase and high durability against noise. - Multiple output
Outputs of cam, position and speed (1turn type) are transmitted and combinations of these outputs can be selected by an output mode. - Variety data communication and display setting,
It is possible to transfer data to multiple Smartcam by using one handy terminal (or personal computer).
It is also possible to set and / or monitor by user’s system, using a dedicated protocol.
